SA Homebuyers fee structures for buying and rental
Buying Property
We operate under a "Buyers Mandate" given to us by our clients which sets out what services we will provide once they have decided to proceed.
We require a retainer fee of R 8000.00, which is fully refunded to the client once transfer of the property has gone through, making our services free to our clients. This includes the services of our attorneys who act on your behalf and vet all the documents for the transaction.
As we represent the buyer, we negotiate a portion of the commission payable on the sale transaction, which is charged whether we are involved or not, so there is no hidden or extra cost involved.
Renting Property
All our clients sign a "rental mandate" once they have decided to use our services. There is a minimum charge of R6, 000 + VAT which payable upon signing the mandate.
Once we have located a rental property for our clients and the lease has been signed, we charge a fee of 1 month’s rent which includes the R6, 000 + VAT already paid...
This fee includes our services and the services of our attorneys.
