Stuart James
Business Development - Stuart is one of the Englishman in the Intergate Group having immigrated to South Africa in 2002.
Since the inception of Intergate he has carried out the roles of Client Manager, Sales Manager and Marketing Director, so can claim to have experience right through the company. In charge of Business development his role includes marketing, product development and communications. He is passionate about providing our clients with complete immigration solutions and is always keen to receive feedback and suggestions from clients.
In his previous life in the UK, Stuart was a qualified Financial Planner and worked in Senior Management for The Royal London Group and Standard Life.

Katrin Maja Maehl
Managing Member - Originally from Hamburg in Germany but now a permanent resident of South Africa, was one of the founding partners of Intergate Immigration. She acts as hands on member concentrating on the expansion of the group into Emigration markets worldwide which include to date besides South Africa, Australia, Canada and various countries throughout Africa.
Educated in Germany, Berlin she completed her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and after periods of work with SIEMENS in Berlin and in the property industry chose South Africa, Cape Town as her new home.

Claus Lauter - Claus is the Marketing Director and joined Intergate in March 2008. He has 25 years experience in hotel, consultancy and the IT industries and has worked for big co-operations like Johnson & Johnson, Reed Elsevier, Nikko, Mandarin Oriental and Kempinski Hotels. He also was an entrepreneur with his own IT Company for 7 years in Hamburg.
Having arrived in South Africa in April 2007, Claus is now passionately and as well as performing his role of Marketing Director also runs the Intergate sponsored Social and Business network – Cape Town’s largest social network club with over 3,000 members and a gate way to meet business and personal contacts.

Wim Kenis – The mastermind behind our websites and client management system. Wim is a bachelor in Informatics and his career has seen him involved in a diverse range of products including building and developing a number of websites for our clients as well as back-end solutions. He started his career in 1994 and has a number of international projects that he completed up and running including software for labeling machines, large automatisation projects, CMS systems and search engine optimized web sites.

Mark Wilkes - Mark Wilkes has been supporting those clients from the United Kingdom being an Englishman himself.
Mark’s previous career and experience ensures that all the elements of a clients move are sensitively and professionally handled. Aware of the major change that clients face as he has been through the process himself, his aim is to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Marcia Heidsieck - Marcia joined the Intergate team in January of 2009 and in her role as Client Manager she will assists all Dutch and Spanish speaking clients. Marcia was born and raised in the Netherlands. She studied International Business Communication at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. Among other things she learned to speak Spanish there and during her time as a student she spent two lovely summers in Spain to improve her Spanish language skills.

Katja Haslinger – Katja acts as Intergate's German speaking Client Manager. Half Japanese, half German, she completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Tuebingen/Germany.
As a scholar of Germany's ‘Studienstiftung’ and the American Fulbright Commission, she continued her post-graduate studies at Arizona State University/USA. She spent many years working in sales, marketing and consulting within the mobile telecommunication industry in Germany (Siemens), before moving to South Africa five years ago.

Pia Henseler - Pia was born in Germany and grew up in Namibia and South Africa. She completed her schooling at the German International School in Cape Town and obtained a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours) from the University of Cape Town four years later. After completing her studies she went to Germany for two years where she used her time to work at the Daimler Chrysler Bank and travel Europe. She then decided to return to Cape Town and started work in the recruitment industry before joining our team at Intergate. She is currently focusing on all support services that the Intergate Group offers to make sure that you not only get the correct permit for South Africa but also expert advice on insurance issues, investment questions and property matters.

Lisa Buschek - is the newest member to the Intergate team. She is half Austrian, half American, and was born in Mexico. Lisa grew up in North and South America. She completed her degree in Vienna, Austria in Business Administration and International Relations. After university, she was given an opportunity to work in the film industry in Dubai, so she took it.
It was in Dubai where she met a man, and four years later she made her way to the Southern Hemisphere, and to Intergate. Lisa sits in Johannesburg and handles Intergate’s English speaking clients immigrating to Canada and Australia, as well all Jo'burg and Pretoria based South African Life Partner and Spousal Permits.

Nicholas Hunt - Nick joined Intergate in 2005 and started the Johannesburg branch and has since overseen it's development into a successful business. Nick has vast experience within Intergate and in particular “Immigration”, his new role is the Johannesburg Business Development Manager. Nick is on hand to strengthen Intergate's relationship with existing clients, managing the JHB Client Manager team and is focusing on the development of the Intergate brand within Gauteng. Nick's passion for business means he normally finds a way to make it happen!

Katja Venter - Katja has an eclectic and unique background. A native of a small village in Rhineland-Palatinate in Western Germany, Katja’s education and professional background are in physiotherapy.
While on holiday in New Zealand, Katja met a South African, they wed a few years later. Katja was soon convinced to trade German weather for South African weather, and moved to Johannesburg. Her experiences in immigrating to South Africa were enough for her to change her profession entirely, and move into the immigration field. Alongside Nick Hunt, Katja is in charge of Intergate’s corporate clients in the Gauteng area. She is fluent in German, Afrikaans and English. Katja brings with her medical experience, an ability to truly understand her clients’ needs, and a desire to do everything she can to assist them.

Bjorn van Niekerk - Bjorn van Niekerk is an Immigration practitioner and Corporate Client Manager for Intergate Immigration.
Bjorn has been part of the team at Intergate since 2007. Before becoming a Corporate Client manager he was specialising in other areas of immigration, specifically assisting spouses and life partners of returning South African's. As a proud South African who has spent time abroad it is a great pleasure for him to assist South African's to return to SA with their families and partners.
As a Corporate Client manager his role is now primarily aimed at providing feasible, practical and cost effective immigration solutions for companies and businesses who are in the need of employing foreign employees, may it be one or many employee's, on a short term or long term basis.
Bjorn also provides assistance by ensuring that any individual relocating to South Africa has access to our team of experts in the area's of currency transfer, property, insurance and tax advice for a complete relocation package.
He is passionate about South Africa and about ensuring that all those who relocate to SA, on a short or long term basis, are able to do so without hassle, so please contact Bjorn if you need assistance for you or your company in any way.

Monya Liebenberg - As Senior Administrator Monya is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all applications for INTERGATE’s Corporate Clients. Monya came to our Corporate Team from internal recruitment at INTERGATE. Her processes and procedures put in place in previous departments under her management has made her our first choice in continued efforts to provide our Corporate Clients with flawless service. She is a student of BCom Quantitative Management and her career to date has seen her work in the family owned business and financial services. She is a great believer in quality client service and the difference it makes it makes to providing fulfilling client experiences.

Natasha Goliath – Natasha supports the corporate department in our Johannesburg office. She started out in a completely different industry altogether – obtaining her degree in Hotel and Catering Management, with special knowledge in the organizing of conferencing and events. A two year trip to the UK had such a huge impact however, that on her return to South Africa, Natasha decided to help local companies making the move of their foreign staff members easier.

Claire Roodman (Registered Immigration Practitioner) - Claire has been a member of the Intergate Team since February 2007. Having studied at Montrose Business College, she brought knowledge of travel and tourism, business administration, law and human resource management with her. Claire is our Office Manager and assist clients in her capacity as Senior Administrator (registered IP) all Individual Work clients. |

Tammy Price - Tammy has been a valuable part of the Intergate team for 2 years now and is running the administration department for all clients with South African partners. She has been well equipped with her diploma in Business Administration as well as Travel and Tourism. She works hard and consistently, ensuring the constant smooth-flowing of her department as well as paying particular attention to client communications to ensure that clients are updated regularly and that all enquiries are dealt with swiftly. |

Ayesha Wiener – Ayesha has been with Intergate since April 2010 which makes her the newest addition to the team. She has a BA degree majoring in psychology, sociology and anthropology which has equipped her well in all areas of client interface. She wants to further herself in this field whilst tying it into her corporate environment through studying Human Resources. She currently assist Tammy Price in all facets of the department. |

Emma du Plessis – Emma du Plessis joined the team in November 2010. She has studied Public Relations and worked in the hospitality and travel industry, which equipped her well to assist clients swiftly and efficiently. Her organised manner and attention to detail makes her an asset to the Business and Retired Permits Departments' administration team. |

Oliver Leitch - Oliver has been with Intergate since May 2010. He is currently studying towards his BaLLB and has plans to specialize in Immigration Law, making him a great addition to our team. After spending 2 years in the United Kingdom doing part time administrative work, Oliver returned to South Africa and now assists in helping Foreigners immigrate to our beautiful South Africa. |

Michelle Thomas - Michelle is the friendly lady on the phone line, greeting all clients with a warm South African hospitality. She is always helpful and directs clients to the experts at Intergate Immigration in order to make sure that the client gets the best advice and service. During her career she has always been involved with people and will go the extra mile in order to assist the Intergate Immigration clients. |

Miche Michaels – Miche was one of the first employees to join the Intergate Team and has fulfilled a number of roles within Intergate during her time with the Group, culminating in her advancement to the role of Immigration Practitioner. Miche takes responsibility for the liaison with Home Affairs officials and is invaluable member of our team. Her hidden talents include a superb rendition of Celine Dion which she if often heard at team get togethers.

Miems Swanepoel (Registered Immigration Agent) - Although 71 years of age, she has the energy of a forty year old and is the fittest member of our team.
She provides invaluable experience in dealing with home affairs. With her calm nature she is the perfect person to deal with the respective Departments and their often bureaucratic ways of handling things.

Khumo Thoke - Khumo is Intergate Johannesburg’s Home Affairs Liaison, and Corporate Logistics Manager. Born and raised in Soweto, Khumo brings with her a myriad of African languages which are invaluable when dealing with South African immigration fficials. She speaks Sesotho, Zulu, Setswana, Sepedi, English and Afrikaans. She has a diploma in Business Management from Rosebank College and professional experience in media and sales. Khumo’s communication skills, efficiency and practical know-how ensure that our clients’ applications and documents are handled by the industry’s best liaison.

Jan Wink - Jan graduated from Stellenbosch university with a Bachelor in Commerce. He soon thereafter packed his backpack and spent a few years travelling to all sorts of arbitrary places. Returning to SA, Jan managed the launch of Incompass' insurance division in 2004 and has overseen it ever since. He acquired 2 further qualifications from the Insurance Institute of South Africa: CoP and ICiBS.
Jan and his team assist Intergate clients with medical insurance, transit insurance as well as personal and commercial short term cover (house and car insurance). Incompass has also grown to become one of South Africa's largest guest house insurance brokerages.

Fiona Roehlandt - Fiona is a member of the taxation & accounting team. She is the expert unravelling all your international taxation matters. She will tell you how to avoid unnecessary double taxation and will assist you so that you can have peace of mind, being legal in all aspects of business, inheritance, investments and much more. Being qualified as an attorney under German Law, she specialises in International Tax Law. She graduated as a Master of Laws from the University of New South Whales (Australia).

Cindy Alfino – Cindy is the office manager for Incompass Insurance and her team are able to help clients with areas such as medical insurance, car and house insurance and commercial insurance. Her ethos is service, service, service and she is always there to lend a helping hand, sort out a query or provide help and advice.

Paul Sturman - Paul moved over to South Africa from the UK in the early 90's - long before it became fashionable to do so. Having spent more than half of his life in South Africa, he can by now call himself South African. Paul's main focus is in the guest house industry. He manages Incompass' guest house division in Johannesburg, and is responsible for advising and servicing our guest house clients in the Gauteng region.

Shaun Collins - Shaun obtained his National Diploma in Accounting from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Number crunching bored him to death though, and he soon switched over to the financial services sector by joining the Incompass team as a guest house insurance specialist. Shaun visits guest houses on a daily basis, advising them on their commercial insurance exposures.

Stacey West – Stacey has been a corner-stone within the administration department of Incompass Financial Solutions since early 2009. She has completed her diploma in Business and Office Administration ensuring the smooth-flow of work within her day-to-day dealings with clients. She is furthering her skills by currently studying her Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Management after realising her passion for this subject through her work here at Incompass.

Charne Solomons - Charne was a born and bred in Cape Town and has joined the administrative team of Incompass Insurance in 2009. After completing her schooling, she attained a Business and Office Administration Diploma from Montrose Business College which she has put to great use in her job. She takes pride in her work and her energy and enthusiasm make her a valuable asset to the team.

Marco Garuti – Marco is from Italian / Portuguese descendency and has lived in South Africa from age 6 and completed his tertiary education here. With a financial planning background and extensive experience in property purchasing transactions and relocation issues, Marco has intimate knowledge of the local property market and the ‘’settling in issues’’ that make for the ingredients of a successful move.
With a passion for property, good vision for property improvements and clear understanding of demand, supply and location, he helps to ensure our clients get the right property, at the right price, in the right area as well as considerations such as schooling and settling in.
